WHO WE ARE:
Our group’s founders are composed of three high school students: Caroline Warner, Larissa Da Silva and Danny Marczewski. An idea worked on by numerous citizen’s in the past; also, one we hope to embody is to work towards humanity’s happier and healthier future. To do so, we plan on advancing our environmental movement across Massachusetts. Furthermore, we hope to deepen student’s understanding of the severity of this pollution crisis and how it will effect their futures. Not only will our group take action but we will also spread awareness. Likewise, scheduled cleanups will be available for the public, composting sign up pages for Holliston students, lessons on the importance of environmental change, and advice columns for smaller and easier steps to take towards a healthier society.
Our Purpose:
Environmental pollution is the hazardous alterations of our surroundings. The diverse classifications of pollution can be categorized as air, water, land, radioactive, noise, light or thermal. All of the various classifications of pollution are a byproduct of mankind’s actions. It should be noted that they are all extremely toxic to the environment and if no precautions are taken, then our planet’s future looks exceptionally grim. Pollution is having an adverse effect on our environment and as a community we should work towards the mitigation of pollution. For this reason our group was created so citizen’s seeking out help to take action can use our platform to do so.
